Not every owner cares enough to walk the grounds and interact with their customers But If your here, you'll see Joey working. Every staff member cares about their job. Every chef, cares about each plate If Eliza is working behind the bar, ask her honest opinion You will be glad you did Hans is the perfect gentleman and will make sure anything you need is taken care of. And always remember, a boss will hear 100 complaints before they hear one complement about their staff Even if everything is 99% perfect They will hear about that 1%

My parents took me out tonight for my birthday dinner at a new restaurant in Oceanside called Joey’s Bold Flavors on Long Beach rd… from the twist in the Italian bread that was delicious to the rib meatballs and carbonara pasta and topped it off with a piece of peacan pie, I’m barely able to walk out the food is so good..I highly recommend stoping in for a taste… can’t wait to go back

Joey's bold flavors is my new favorite restaurant. Anything that you order at this restaurant is always going to be nothing short of perfection. The owner Joey Bonacore has owned several successful restaurants. This one continues his legacy of amazing cuisine. Tonight we enjoyed scallops and lobster bisque for appetizers. For the main course I had the cod special and my husband had the pork osoboca. They were cooked and prepared perfectly. Also, the staff is absolutely incredible especially John the waiter, but even the busboys step it up. All in all, this is a restaurant that you definitely want to try,again and again.

We went out to Joey's for father's day and must say we're happy we decided to try this neighborhood spot. Everything was fresh, delicious and well plated. In addition, service was great along with the ambiance. Hope the quality keeps up and doesn't fall off later on. It was worth making the visit and would definitely recommend.

Oceanside has been waiting for a place like this! Unbelievable food, personal staff, and amazing food and drinks. Hans is a pro behind the bar. His drinks and service are top notch. Thank you to Joe the owner for bringing this restaurant to Oceanside.

We finally discovered this neighborhood gem...a little late to the party!! All I can say is wow!! The food was fantastic and the service was generous and beyond hospitality!! Joey turned a new customer into a regular tonight!! Run... don't walk and tell him Karen sent you!!
